Address database

In practice, we often face the task of solving the issue of location of objects and events not being tied to exact coordinates. Instead, human identifiers, i.e. settlement name, public premise name, house address number (or even lot number) are provided. The so-called geo-coding function uses these identifiers to search for an object’s location on the map, and establish its coordinates. This can be performed only if the map contains such corresponding data.

The recognition of this fact led our company to assume the preparation of a highly accurate address database system, covering areas populated by the majority of the country’s population. This procedure ensures much better results than that, of using generalized, street-block range-based addresses, which were created by interpolation.
